Is your loved one getting cremated and you want to hire flowers?? take a look at these12 August 2026For this funeral, the man in question was being creamated and the family asked for artificial flowers in blue and white.. When making my artificial arrangements, I prefer people to wonder if the flowers are real or not and this can be hard with white as they can look too harsh and fluorescent, especially when you pair it with a bright royal blue - the look tends more towards obvious artificial than realistic. I therefore used the Ivory coffin spray base I have for hire, but put different shades and tones of blue throught it - this softened the look and made the arrangment look more realistic. For the letters, I prefer these to be coloured rather than white and with minimal sprays of additional flowers. That way the letters really opo against the coffin spray. So, the full package hired included: 5ft coffin spray with blue accents, DAD and POPS lettering and a wreath. The family have already said the flowers are 'amazing' and thats before they have seen them in the hurst with their loved one. It always brings a sense of achievement and happiness when I hear that the families loved the flowers i created for their loved one - whether hired or purchased - they both get the same level of care and love.
