Here's hoping 2024 is a good year for all of us

It is usual to start the year with the phrase 'Happy New Year' - yet to the recently bereaved this can have us shouting inside.... 'if only' or 'are you joking - my world has just fell apart'. I know that feeling well and this January marks 20 years since my brother died.

Yes 20!!! years - he was only 27 at the time and I can still remember it like yesterday. So when people ask 'are you ok now?' or comment 'thought he died years ago' take comfort in the fact that I understand how you feel and no the hurt & pain does not go away/disappear - you just learn to refocus on the happy times together and value them for what they were.

I'll soon be making floral arrangements for Gary's anniversary and will post them so that you can see that I make flower arrangements for my customers in the same way that I make them for my brother.
