Blending Real & Artificial flowers for Father's Day

I must admit, I never used to be a lover of artificial flowers - especially on graves. As all i used to see were odd coloured carnations (pale blue?? have you ever seen a naturally grown pale blue carnation?), fluorescent flowers or cheap looking plastic.

However, as with everything, artificial flowers have now evolved to look more realistic and can even become indistinguishable with real flowers.

For father's day, I used a mix of both real and artificial flowers together and from my point of view at least, I think the artificial blend in well, but what do you think? are they immediately obvious?

do they stick out like a sore thumb?
